La Formaggeria

La Formaggeria is a magical place where to taste Carrozzi cheese and other traditional products of Valsassina.

Valsassina

Just a few kilometres from Milan, “our” Valsassina is full of treasures to be discovered.

Pasturo, Carrozzi place, is very dear to Italian literature as Alessandro Manzoni set the house of Agnese, mother of Lucia Mondella, in the novel Promessi Sposi. A century later the poet Antonia Pozzi wrote wonderful verses dedicated to her beloved mountains.
